Okay, Linkmeister..
I need help with this one...what am I missing?
A roll is soft.."coal" is hard..
My mind can't see the pun...

I am older than you, "baby"..
I think I am the oldest person on the blogging circuit..
I feel like Ozzy Osbourne..
Doesn't bother me too much around here though. There is so much talent, and I enjoy the read!!
I remember Foghat..
Must have swallowed too much cough medicine when this album came out..hee..hee..

Psst...toxic: it's 'rock and roll'. :)

I had to look in the comments to get it too - must be too early in the morning. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! ;)

See, I didn't think of it as rock and roll - I thought well, that's a lump of coal and the other is a bun - so my mind went wandering onto all sorts of random paths...

i so did not get it. i had to read the comments too.

but why does "foghat" define rock and roll. wouldn't zeppelin be better in that capacity?

oh. I thought it was a rock bun. really.

add me to the coal bun list. I did not think of rock and roll at all.

It is, of course, Rock N'Roll. Nowhere on the album, not even in the liner notes, is the pun mentioned or indicated. I bought the LP back when it first came out in 1973 (2nd album by the group), and I will confess it took a few days to get the point, like most of you. It really is good rock, along the lines of Free and Bad Company.

I'll have the one on the right, please. Warmed with butter. A some tea.
