Ok, it's late so some of these will be fuzzy...

2) One of my favorite movies - Bell Book and Candle with Kim Novack and Jimmy Stewart.
3) friend of Archie, who was a cockroach that wrote poetry on a typewriter
4) Denis the Menace's cat (but damn do I hate that cartoon, ugh)
5) TS Eliot's poem The Naming of Cats
6) generic name of witch's cat, historical - I want to say it comes up in Macbeth or something...

...and the others seem familiar and I'm gonna slap my forehead and go "oh yeah" when I hear where they're from...

Why would I be annoyed? I once tried to create an entire alphabet from the symbols in the Holmes story about "The Dancing Men," and I spent weeks trying to learn the Elvish runes (not Daeron's dwarvish ones) in LOTR.
