In case you are unaware, Jon and Batty are on a road trip to San Diego. That in itself is unremarkable, but Jon, being the self-confessed über-geek that he is, is updating the map via GPS and his cell phone. It's a hoot.

Posted by: ruminator at July 20, 2003 04:21 PMYeah, particularly since I've driven that route about 10 times. It's boring. The 120-mile stretch on I-10 between Tucson and Phoenix (you turn West 65 miles up for San Diego on I-8) has got to be the longest and straightest speed trap in the country.
