Boring

Got hair cut. Set appointment to get driver-side car window repaired. Paced off length/width of house for new replacement-cost evaluation of homeowner's policy. Discovered I need to know the length of the stem on wheel casters before I can replace the rusted ones on our TV stand. Also learned that the ballast in our kitchen overhead fluorescent lamps is so old they don't make replacements with that amperage any longer. Oh, yeah; paid $2.00 a gallon for gas.

Wasn't that exciting?

Two bucks for regular; about two-and-a-quarter for premium.

If I had a digital camera I'd take a shot of the gas prices before I took one of my boring dull above-the-ear haircut. ;)

Gas is rising in the gas-guzzeling state of NJ!! I just paid 1.52 for regular.
Did you get "a shave and a hair cut--two bits"?
("who ya gonna marry--Tom Mix")-wow, I used to sing that when I was a little girl. It didn't make sense to me then, and sure as hell doesn't now--except that Tom Mix was a very handsome movie matinee cowboy....
Gosh, Steve-your site always makes me nostalgic..

Inflation has struck; $10.00 for a haircut, I'm afraid. :0

I just popped in via a Google search... looking for the origin of "Shave and a hair cut 2 bits" Thanks for the info.. and 2 bits is 50cent. A Quarter is a bit. At least thats what I heard. Oh yeah and thankfully gas is down now...
