Rats

Do you suppose Arthur Conan Doyle knew about this, but he got the geography wrong? Anyone wanna give me odds that a new pastiche will soon be in the works using this discovery as a basis for the storyline?

Wow! That's one big rodent!

I had to put a string on my bird feeder to lower it so a rat couldn't get to it, and that one was just the size of an avocado. This thing is estimated to have been the size of a buffalo. Yikes.

Ok, that's one thing I always got all wound up over about Holmes - he'd hint about these other cases and we'd never get to hear about them! What a tease!

Holmes fans are fun - I gave my father the collected works of Holmes with annotations (which of course I read too) - which all were about trying to prove the reality of Holmes and the timeline of where he was on actual dates within the stories. Very "out there."

"out there"? I beg your pardon? ;)
