It couldn't happen again

The Queen of England went to Southhampton to launch the Queen Mary 2 Thursday. The last time that port's name was in the news for a ship launching, well...

I do hope this cruise turns out more successfully.

Titanic was built and launched in Belfast. Southampton was her port of embarkation on her maiden voyage.

I'm not normally superstitious but I think this ship is hexed! After all those people died in that awful accident in the French shipyard I wouldn't set foot on this ship. Not that I could afford to anyway ;)

Is that true? If so, maybe they should have made different plans.

I've read where a cabin can cost as much as 37,000 and probably more..
Its the biggest, widest, highest boat ever..
I think I'll pound my flat chest and cause my "Heart of the Ocean" to sway back and forth....
(And if I have the wrong name for the necklace, I'm sure N n Seattle will correct me. ;-})

Ms. Toxic, I think it's in the water; N and I are about the same age, and we're equally nitpicky. ;)
