Gas Price Map

I found another map software script besides Bravenet, so I'll add it to the sidebar. It doesn't have the pretty push-pin icons that Bravenet offers; it has little (very little) dots, but it's representative.

Gas Price Map

If you haven't responded yet, add your location and price per gallon.

You folks who've already responded below, I've added your locations to the map. If I'm too far off, I'm sorry, but I don't think the dots can be edited.

I couldn't resist translating the £1.79 per LITRE that I pay - it comes out at $14.42 per gallon. My heart isn't exactly bleeding for you all! ;)

Shelagh, you're the reason I didn't put a world map up there. You Europeans skew the results! ;)

New Jersey reportedly has the lowest average prices this week, according to the news this morning. Just as an fyi.

I have to believe that you've based this calculation on the "imperial gallon", which contains five quarts rather than the four we're accustomed to. Assuming, based on quick web review, that the pound converts to $1.77, I calculate that you're paying a mere $12.01 per US gallon. I put the price at $15.01 per imperial gallon.

Only $12 per US gallon? Bargain!! :p I'd forgotten about your pints and gallons not being "real" pints and gallons ;)

I can't get the map to accept my information, so here it is:
$1.59 per gallon in West Long Branch, New Jersey
