Pens and info needed

Here's about the easiest and cheapest way to help Afghan kids I can think of: send pens. That's right, ordinary writing instruments. Here's the address:

Terry L. Welch
105th MPAD
Kandahar Public Affairs Office
APO AE 09355

On an unrelated note, I just downloaded and installed Ad-Aware and ran a scan on my two hard drives. I got 408 "objects;" many of them look like cookies, though, so how does one determine which to quarantine and which to keep? Who's got advice?

Quarantine them all. Normal cookies don't register on AdAware.

Well now. That's just the sort of advice I needed. Thanks, Faith!

I always get rid of them all, too. Baaaaad little cookies.

First time I ran it, I just let it wipe all of them out. I discovered that the most irritating thing I lost was my log in cookie for MT interface to my blog. No biggie because I also use Password Manager from Norton, which just signs me in anyway.

Of course, most people don't want to pay for Norton, but there are other password manager programs that are freeware.

I realize this is way late, but trash 'em all. And update your defs every time you run AdAware--it seems they update multiple times/week, which is GREAT. :D
