Hell. We expect houseguests around Thanksgiving, so we're going to have to do a major housecleaning with some help from a commercial service. That means we have to "pre-clean." Bleah.

If I had a maid or hired a service or whatever, I sure as hell wouldn't be doing any cleaning at all. Let them deal with it! I'd give them a box marked "not sure if it's garbage or good". hahaha.
Put books back on shelves, make decisions about mail that's in piles, put the clean laundry into drawers rather than on the chair...if I let them do it my socks would go in the wrong place! ;)
