Who's watching?

My mom found a new blog which focuses on the Sunday morning political talk shows. I commented that I wondered what the ratings were for those shows, since in my entire working life I have never ever had a conversation on a Monday about the content of "Meet the Press," "Face the Nation" or "This Week." She maintains that she used to have those conversations all the time while she was working or meeting other Navy wives. So who's closer to the truth here? Are those shows widely watched by you, O readers?

Do you watch the Sunday Morning political talk shows?
Yes, All of them
Yes, Some of them
No, None of them
Are those still on?

I voted "Are those still on?" but in reality I do watch some of them if there is absolutely nothing better to do, and to give you an idea, better would be having a tooth pulled or better still, watching paint dry.

There is a small 5 inch color television on my desk adjacent to the computer monitor.

Here, Fox has its show beginning at 10 am, with ABC and NBC both starting at 10:30.

I generally have them on the background while I am reading news and blogs online. My interest is less for the interviews than for the roundtables of pundits. They are a good barometer of establishment conventional wisdom, both from the incumbents and opposition.

My habit is to watch the entire Fox show, then switch to the last 30 minutes of ABC for its roundtable. I then switch to the PBS station for a similar 30 minutes show concerning the State of Michigan.

Since ABC and NBC are broadcast here at the same time, I TiVo NBC's Meet the Press, and fast forward to the roundtable segments.

CBS and CNN are off the radar screen.

Again, between 10 am and noon, they are on as background noise, and capture my attention only on occasion.

I watch the one with George Stephenopolis, but I can't remember the name of the show. I guess it leaves that much of an imprint on me.... :^{

Ms Toxic, that's "This Week."

Pix, they start here at 0400 or 0500, depending on Daylight Savings. Way too early to bother with.

between a 2-3 hour run, church and hockey or skate practice, there's not much Sunday morning TV on here. And if there is, it usually involves "toon" something.
