My new $12.99 umbrella. If it holds up for one summer at that price, I'll be quite content.

Probably made in China -- for awhile now, my mind conjures imagines of the Chinese devastating their land to produce cheap goods. So I've lately stayed away from buying cheap goods. I rather pay a bit more but know my purchases have been produced w. care and respect for our Planet.
Posted by: Frances M. at April 27, 2005 07:31 PMThere wasn't a tag of any sort on it other than a slick four-page blurb advertising it as UV-50 safe, so I haven't a clue where it was made. It's nylon or some derivative.
