The harried homeowner

'Tis the season, or something. Three of our neighbors on our block are doing major construction, but the most interesting one is the fellow whose garage partially collapsed. The incident revealed a major infestation throughout his entire home, and they ended up razing the entire thing. It's about half rebuilt now.
Posted by: Ryan at August 7, 2005 03:36 PMThis looks to be wood rot at the junction of the steps and the deck frame. That railing is 3/4" iron, and the weight just pulled it away from the deck supports.
