Pre-madness

Pre-madness
Anyone would think we had two or three small kids in this house. Not so!

Somewhere in there are several books for me: Wodehouse: A Life, by Robert McCrum, 1776, by David McCullough, and The Stratocaster Chronicles, by Tom Wheeler. I kind of hoped for the McCullough book, but I hadn't a clue about the Fender history or the Wodehouse biography. Fun, fun, fun!

Most of the jokes worked, including the ream of paper for the niece who complains she never has enough, and the colored CDs for backup purposes for the same girl. The froggy, ladybug and dragonfly earrings seemed to be a big hit too.

Real! We used to do two; an artificial one downstairs (with the ornaments you see on this one) and a real one up here with all the old family ones (baby rattles, school-made ceramics, that kind of thing). Now we just do the one, but it's always real.

Tigger got a bag of Steak and Cheesers. She got fed about half the bag Christmas morning, too!

Your tree is really pretty, Linkmeister!

That's the time I really love. When all the pretty wrapped up presents are under the tree...waiting to be attacked! Ahhh. It goes so quickly!
