Wow. And here I thought the possums we get here were exotic!
Posted by: dee, City Girl at January 8, 2006 08:06 AMNo indigenous snakes, and we try very hard to keep them out. The brown tree snake tries to sneak in through stowing away in flights from Guam. Since it's destroyed bird populations there, we're terrified of it.
Posted by: Linkmeister at January 8, 2006 09:50 AMWhy are they illegal?
Posted by: Karan at January 8, 2006 04:08 PMIllegal? Oh, you mean the "unlawful" bit. Because it's my yard and I said so! ;)
Posted by: Linkmeister at January 8, 2006 04:18 PMSee, now I saw this post in my feedreader, but it did not indicate a photo was available. That is so cool! I've never seen one of those critters before.
Posted by: Lee at January 9, 2006 11:01 AMHow did you managed to shoot him? Do you always have the camera with you?
Posted by: Nataly at January 9, 2006 11:10 AMUm, just lucky, I guess. :) Nah, he was pretty casual, so I had time to run down the hall for my camera. Sometimes I remember to keep it in the kitchen for occasions like this, but not this time.
