Looking for compatibility

Pioneer PL-50A
Why is there no such thing as a phono cartridge/stylus compatibility chart at most of the current manufacturers' sites? All I want is a 1/2" mount cartridge for a 35-year-old turntable; is that too much to ask?

Good luck, meister. Try not to Bang on your Olufsen too much in the inevitable frustration.

Grins. Or I might find Duals between Garrard and Thorens, brought to you by Acoustic Research?

I saw that picture and thought of eBay. Did you try there???

It would cost more to ship a stylus than the thing weighs!

Linkmeister, using eBay or Craig's List you should be able to select for your area and then if you find someone who's selling one, you don't need to pay shipping - you can just go pick it up!

Sis, I tried to sell the thing on Craigslist. No takers. I did follow your suggestion a year ago and found a local source for a Canon Speedlite flash for my film camera, though.
