In what appears to be a case of mistaken identity, Vice-President Cheney shot and wounded a lawyer yesterday.
There's no word yet on whether the lawyer was lobbying against tort reform at the time of the shooting.

Posted by: shelley at February 12, 2006 03:51 PMWhen I first saw Cheney's face attached to the headline "Accidental Shooting" ... sigh.
Can the state press charges even if the crony refuses to? How about if we asked them real nice?
Posted by: Curmudgeon at February 12, 2006 05:38 PMMudge, this was Texas. Do you really think that would happen there?
Posted by: Linkmeister at February 12, 2006 07:39 PMThe best headline so far?
"Vice President, Relying on Raw Intel Reports, Convinced Victim was Deer."

Posted by: Linkmeister at February 13, 2006 07:20 AMOf course, I can imagine a new bumper sticker that says:
"I'd rather hunt with Dick Cheney
than ride with Ted Kennedy"
heh
