Misery and plenty

While US shoppers are mobbing the malls, in Baghdad suicide car bombers blow themselves up in marketplaces.

The car bombings destroyed dozens of other vehicles, scattered charred and mangled bodies and sent flames and thick pillars of smoke into the air. Frenzied crowds clawed through the wreckage, pulling bloodied bodies from cars and minibuses and moving them out in wooden carts.

What have Bush and his cohorts let loose?

I suspect that the fate of Civil War was originally set into motion at Versailles, when the British and French so selfishly carved up the country.
