Gift purchasing update

I'm sure everyone was concerned about my lack of progress in family present purchasing. I'm pleased to report that after today's foray into the tinsel-bedecked halls of the local mall (funny, I didn't hear any Christmas music over the PA) the numbers have gone from two to sixteen.

Granted, most of today's loot was of the amusing rather than serious variety, but virtually all of the family gifts are like that these days.

I'm not there either. I've got like 11 shopping or something right?

As I've gotten older holiday season has come and gone so quickly.

I avoided malls this year, most shopping done on-line. My brief foray into Wally World for stupid Christmas lights was the closest I came to tinsel-bedecked halls of commerce. They were loudly playing Christmas music over the PA. During my hour-ish long stay in the store, not one secular tune played. All standard carols from the hymnal. No War on Christmas there.
