Income

For the first time in six or seven years I'm doing regular work outside my home. It's a little odd to have to be someplace at a certain time every morning. Mind you, I'm not complaining; it's just that there's a certain adjustment required (and I don't mean only the commute).

WOOT!

(And, I remember the adjustment to the corporate world. It's rough. I mean, what's the big deal? Aren't bunny slippers corporate attire?)

Congrats (I think) on the "day job." Income is good. You're not a new embedded blogger at the State Capitol, are you?

Good luck!

Don is on a "schedule" workwise for the first time in years. He's always come and gone as he pleases. And he's adjusting nicely.

Ha! Ryan, no. If I had to be around those buffoons...

This is temporary for three or four months filling in for somebody at a friend's company who's out on maternity leave.

you mean the adjustment to putting on "real" clothing before lunchtime as well as all that other stuff you could do when you wanted (or needed) to do it? yeah. I get that. :-/

Shaving. Daily.

Shaving. Daily.

AAARRRGGGHHH!!!

I haven't shaved in months. Keeping a beard trimmed is a lot nicer than scraping really sharp strips of metal across my face. I dread the three or four times a year that I have to shave.
