Where's the other shoe?

In light of what appears to be political interference with the US Attorneys' activities, my question now is "if eight of them got fired for non-compliance with Rove's political demands, how many acquiesced and are now doing his bidding?"

Yes, Paul Krugman asked that very same question a week or so ago, and there is evidence that, at the local level, under the national radar, the proportion of Democrats v. Republicans targeted for investigation was overwhelmingly biased. I'm sure we'll hear more about that as this session of Congress progresses.

Hmm. Well, I may have read Krugman last week and had it percolating in my brain. Or it could be two great minds thinking as one. ;)

One does wonder about the other 85 USAs; I wonder if any of them would be useful if subpoenaed to appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Leahy has already said he'll subpoena Rove and anyone else in the WH if he thinks it's necessary.

It was two great minds thinking as one of course.
