I've stalled on doing the taxes, thinking it was a sure thing I'd owe money. Well, using TurboTax I made my first pass and the Feds owe me a little, and the State a little too.
I'm sure I did something wrong here.

Posted by: MotherFury at April 10, 2007 04:06 AMI owe so much I'm waiting till the last minute to file. Never mind I got a revise W-2 3 days after dad finished my taxes and he had to do them over. And then I lost those and am waiting for the new fedexed ones to arrive today.
Don't ask.

Mother, I used to pay an accountant until I noticed that all he did was plug my data into a software program, print out the results, and send it back to me with a bill for $125. I figured I could do that myself, save the postage, and pay $44 for the software. If I e-File it's another $20 each for Fed and State, so I still save a little.

I wish I could be like the character in _Stranger than Fiction_ who paid only the taxes she agreed with paying.
