The saga of the floor, complete

If Flickr allows photos to be reorganized into a different sequence from the one in which they were uploaded, I've yet to find out how.

Here then, somewhat out of order, is documentary evidence that the new floor exists.

Flooring! Whoo hooo!

On the Flickr question, I can see how it might seem odd that the system goes with "latest on top" just like blogs. And, when using the Flickr Uploader application, it sometimes seems as if the order the images ultimately end up in is pretty arbitrary. You get used to it. Mostly.

If you really want to reorder your photos, you can change the datestamp by clicking the date linked in the right sidebar of the photo detail page. You can change both "date taken" and "date uploaded," though I think the sort order is based on the latter (and you probably want to retain the former).

Looks great!

Floor's looking good. Nice pics. As Ryan describes, it's possible to re-order your photos at Flikr but it takes more work than I can devote to it, which is why I never use my account.

How did the leftovers hold up while the fridge was out of commission?

Fortunately, Lance, we were able to keep the fridge plugged in. It was just the water line that had to be unhooked. I went out and got a bag of ice to have around while waiting. For reasons I don't quite understand, I'm occasionally finding flakes of stuff in my water glass now that I've got the line hooked up again.

Mineral deposits that dried up and cracked while the water line was unhooked?

Maybe. We've got such pure water that filters are unnecessary, so it might be from the interior of the pipe itself.
