Moore's Law

I once paid $5,000 for a 13.2MB hard drive the size of a medium pizza for an IBM S/34 mini-computer. Later I paid $400 for a 40MB external hard drive for a Mac Plus.

Today I paid $11 for a 2GB USB Flash Drive.

Before I had my flash drives, I had a zip drive. Next, I will just have all my info on a Dick Tracy 2-way wrist radio watch. Remember them?
When Dick Tracy would be drawn on the cartoon strip, a sharply drawn, zagged line would point to the watch and read: 2-way wrist radio....
But, I digress (yet, once again...)

I'm at the point where I can't imagine zip drives being anything but big bulky pains in the backside.
