The Python vote?

You don't suppose that McCain thought Sarah Palin was actually Michael Palin and he was hoping to attract the Monty Python fans?

Seriously, what does it say about the Republican party that he couldn't persuade one of their more experienced and well-known politicians to join him? If it had to be a woman, there are a few Republican Senators (Dole, Hutchinson, Snowe, Collins) who qualify.

This smells of desperation to me. Ms. Palin must know that.

She has to know it and know why he chose her and yet she accepted anyway. So much for self respect. I will look forward to her debate with Biden. Shades of Dan Quayle?? ;)

I am just grateful he did not tap Condie Rice as my son was sure he would.......I cannot stand her!! Or maybe he did and she turned him down. Hmmmmm

And yet, you guys just elected a guy with no experience at running anything except his big yap. And for change, he has a running mate that's been a Washington insider for 36 years...you know, a guy who is part of the problem.

I don't smell desperation. I'm smelling napalm. It smells like...you know.
