He lived a life, didn't he?
I remember reading Working when I was in the Navy in the early 1970s. I later read The Good War, and I've always meant to read other works of his, but somehow never got around to it.
The NYT obituary says his interviews were something to be heard; I confess I've more often heard Terkel as interviewee than interviewer. Fortunately, some of his interviews are online.
