Posted by: cookie jill at July 19, 2009 07:27 PMI try to know very little about celebrities & sportspeople, so I wot not of Mr Tirico's previous situation, but I can certainly imagine that winning such a major tournament could make quite a difference in his life. Endorsements, recognition in public, high appearance fees, automatic entry into some competitions. It's rather like the tennis equivalent of winning an Olympic medal.
