Too cool for school

NASA:

Preliminary data from the Lunar CRater Observation and Sensing Satellite, or LCROSS, indicates that the mission successfully uncovered water during the Oct. 9, 2009 impacts into the permanently shadowed region of Cabeus cater near the moon’s south pole.
Now if they'd perfect those space elevators . . .

Fortunately there are no inhabitants of the Moon who might be harmed by mankind's future colonization.

Arthur Clarke would have been so delighted to have another of his ideas put into practice. What a great idea man he was.

Are you aware that a firm here on Oahu is starting an oceanic fish farming venture? The fish will be confined in bubble-like devices and the farmers won't be riding with dolphins (or whales, I don't remember which at the moment) but still - another idea from Arthur.
