If you'd told me the Giants' pitchers, good as they are, would have shut the Rangers out twice in their three wins so far I'd have laughed at you.
Since I want the baseball season to go as long as possible in order to shorten the time between now and April, Cliff Lee had better pitch the best game of his life tonight.

Posted by: hedera at November 1, 2010 06:00 PMThere are two things wrong with the Giants winning. 1) They're in the same division as the Dodgers, and so we have to keep facing that pitching staff for possibly years to come, and 2) Playing in SF 9 times a season means the Dodgers' fans have to put up with the enlarged insufferability of Giants fans, who already have an inferiority complex about LA.
