Comments: Pump up the numbers

Hey, we got a call from the Nielsen people a few years ago too! I think at that point we did have a TV, technically, since we were storing it for someone who was on a long deployment, but we never watched it (since reception was bad without an antenna or cable, and dang if I was going to spend money to watch someone else's TV). It drove them insane, I'm sure, to hear that somebody actually watched *nothing* the whole time.

Have fun with this! I'd be tempted to mess with them. ;)

PLEASE do not watch any reality or talent shows -- I am SO sick of the endless bachelor/eating bugs/obnoxious/can't sing drivel. Luckily, my prime-time hours are limited b/c of kiddos' bedtime schedules, so I don't get a chance to consciously NOT watch those. If you'll watch both CSI's, Monday night's CBS sitcom lineup and Monk, that would do it for me!

I'm with skatemom about the reality shows. To me they are just a cheap way to fill up air space. I like tennis and skating. Kind of boring, I guess.

Oh great. Now all we're gonna see are documentaries about volcanoes and hula dancing exhibitions.

Oh well. At least the Food Network oughta start doing some good stuff on pineapples and such.

Too late to save ESPN's 'Playmakers,' sadly... it was a really compelling drama about a fictional NFL team, and it was recently canned after one great season by pressure from--you guessed it--the NFL.
