Lost, Season 2, Episode 5 or 6 9

A freakin' black horse? Just what sort of omen or portent is that supposed to be?

Michael is/was an artist, so how's he know from beans about computer hardware?

I'm not a lot smarter about Kate than I was. There's still no explanation of how she got into the custody of a US Marshal on a plane from Oz to LA, unless I've forgotten something.

Sheesh.

I figured that Kate was making the horse appear.

I sort of expected this episode would be the one where the integration of the newcomers is complete and the plot moves forward.

I was disappointed.

Sure, there was more character development, and backstory is sometimes necessary to do that. But I want to learn more of the Others.. more about the time clock, more about the machinery in the Bunker.. etc. etc.

That was first season. I forget why she was in Australia, but she was working on a farm in the middle of nowhere, and the owner turned her in. He ended up dying when the truck he and she were in crashed while she tried to get away, and the marshall captured her.

I'm just enjoying the ride.

Yeah, Kim, I remember the farm. What I don't get yet is how she got to Oz and why a US Marshal would be after her there. Murder (if that's what the blown-up trailer was) is usually a local offense unless a federal officer is killed. I suppose the bank robbery from last year might bring a US Marshal into her case(s).
