Yabba Dabba Doo!

It gives me great pleasure to announce two victories for the good guys overnight.

Australia's John Howard was defeated in his attempt at a fifth term, putting Labour in charge. Howard has been one of the dwindling number of foreign heads of state who supports GWB's Iraq policy.

The University of Hawai'i's Warriors soundly defeated Boise State last night, 39-27, giving them their first outright Western Athletic Conference championship after 29 years in the league and keeping their undefeated season going. They're now 11-0 with one game left against the University of Washington next Saturday.

The two local papers used what looked like 24-point type to headline UH's victory on the front pages today.

Not only was the party defeated, Howard didn't even win his own seat. It's just a shame it took so long for people to wise up to Bush and Howard.

I suppose Linkmeister would include Chavez, Ahmedinijad and bin Laden among the "good guys", since the sole apparent criteria for that title is anti-Americanism.

I so enjoy the drive-by commenters who've never been here before but leave their nasty remarks behind as a memory.

John, John Howard has been an enabler of Bush's forever, and I happen to think that GWB has been a disaster for the country I've lived in for 57 years. Obviously you disagree. That's fine, but equating my dislike of Howard and Bush as ipso facto approving of those three is a little over the top.

One of my hula sisters passed this link along. It seems to combine both of your comments. Enjoy!
