Preventive health care

Moving from Kaiser to the VA has been quite a change for me. I just got back from having an MRI procedure of my brain (no wisecracks!) and a bone density scan. Why? Well, the doctor's feeling is that it would be nice to have a baseline if there's a need to do either of those things in the future.

I can't remember any doctor at Kaiser ever suggesting such a thing.

Now I just have to worry that the MRI won't show the same results as the X-ray once done on Dizzy Dean, after which he said "The doctors x-rayed my head and found nothing."
